License Requirements

How to Check Credits with DPOR:

To find out how many credits have currently posted to your license, please log into the Real Estate Board's website at www.dpor.state.va.us .

There are two simple ways to check your credits:

1. Check "Individuals" under Real Estate
2. Enter your 10-digit license number under "License/Certificate Number"
3. Click "Search"

When your license record displays, you will see a summary of your license information including your license expiration date. Click on VIEW CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS to see you credits.

If you need Continuing Education credit to renew, your hours will appear at the top of the page. If you were licensed AFTER January 1, 2004 and are in your first renewal, your Post Licensure Education hours will appear toward the bottom of the page.

Are some of your credits not showing? E-mail DPOR with your name as it appears on your license along with your license number to inquire on the status of your credits.
